Agronomic and economic viability of intercropping onion and lettuce Horticultura Brasileira

The study aimed to evaluate the agronomic and economic performance of intercropping onion and lettuce on four plant densities of each species. The experiment was set up in completely randomized blocks, with four replications and treatments arranged in a 4 x 4 factorial. Treatments resulted from a combination of four (100, 80, 60, and 40% of recommended plant densities in monoculture) plant densities for both lettuce and onion. Intercropping did not affect the agronomic performance of onion or lettuce. Higher plant densities (100% for both vegetables) resulted in higher lettuce and onion yields. O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a produtividade de espiga verde de milho relacionada à densidade de plantio. Dois experimentos contíguos foram conduzidos na área experimental da Embrapa Meio-Norte, localizada no município de Teresina, PI, no período de fevereiro a maio de 2018. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi em blocos ao acaso com quatro repetições. Basic study for the appropriate cultivation method of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) in Tokachi region. OAK

十勝地方におけるラッカセイ生産の可能性を模索するため、帯広畜産大学実験圃場でラッカセイ品種「千葉半立」、「ナカテユタカ」、および「おおまさり」の栽培を行った。栽植方法(直播、あるいは移植)、および栽植密度(標準植:5.1 株/ ㎡、あるいは密植:7.7 株/ ㎡)の組合せによる4 試験区を設け、2016 年5 月23 日にそれぞれの品種の栽培を開始した。茎葉の黄変期に収穫を行い、収量構成要素や子実収量の評価を行った。千葉半立とナカテユタカでは、子実収量に対する栽植方法と栽植密度の効果が認められた。両品種とも移植を行った試験区で直播を行った試験区に比べ収量が高かった。これは、移植を行うことで単位面積当たりの稔実粒数が増加することに起因する。また、両品種とも密植を行った試験区で標準植を行った試験区に比べ収量が高かった。千葉半立は半立ち性、ナカテユタカは立性の草型をもつため光競合を起こしにくく、十勝地方で栽培する場合には都府県の慣行法よりも栽植密度を高めることで土地利用効率が高まり、子実収量が改善されると考えられる。おおまさりでは、子実収量に対して栽植方法の効果のみが認められた。移植を行うことで直播を行った場合に比べ総稔実粒数や1000 粒重が高まり、子実収量が増加した。一方、おおまさりでは子実収量に対する栽植密度の効果が認められなかった。おおまさりは伏性の草型を持つため光競合が起こりやすく、十勝地方においても密植条件下では密度障害が生じ増収につながらないと考えられる。千葉半立とナカテユタカでは、移植・密植の処理組合せによる試験区で、おおまさりでは、移植・標準植、および移植・密植の処理組合せによる試験区でそれぞれ最も子実収量が高く、いずれも子実収量の全国平均(180g/...

RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho foi definir os melhores espaçamentos entre linhas de plantas de três cultivares de café arábica, Iapar 59, Acaiá Cerrado MG 1474 e Topázio MG 1190, submetidas a cinco regimes hídricos, buscando tornar eficientes os sistemas, manual e mecanizado, de manejo da cafeicultura no Cerrado. A cultivar Iapar 59 foi plantada com o espaçamento de 0,5 m entre plantas, e as variedades Acaiá Cerrado e Topázio foram implantadas no espaçamento de 0,60 m entre plantas na linha. ABSTRACT: The increment on plant density in narrow row spacing resulted in a greater absorption of photosynthetic active radiation particularly in tropical environments as in the Cerrado Biome. This review aims to analyze the main factors that affect plant arrangement definition in maize, the changes in plant arrangement recommendation and, the modification in plant traits that favored such changes. Effect of irrigation regimes and the plant density on shear strength and physical properties of Azivash (Corchorus Olitorius) stem CIGR Journal

Three irrigation regimes, 6, 12 and 18 days, the distance between seeds in four levels: 5,10, 15 and 20 cm (density, respectively, 80, 40, 27 and 20 plants per m2) and a row spacing of 25 cm was considered that was tested in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results showed that the effect of irrigation on cutting force, shear strength and energy per unit area was meaningful at 5% level and the effect of plant density on cutting force was meaningful at 1% level, but was not meaningful on shear strength. In order to identify alternatives for the use of saline water in agricultural production, the effects of the use of brackish water in the preparation of the nutrient solution for the cultivation of sunflower (cv. EMBRAPA 122-V2000) were studied in hydroponic system on consumption and efficiency of water use for the production of achenes and biomass. A completely randomized design was used, analyzed in a 5x2 factorial scheme with three replications.
